Documentaries

A Civil War battle that launched the reputation of a famous general… the hellish stories of former meth users… the price of becoming a teenage parent. All of these stories have been told in remarkable documentary videos produced by The Renaissance Center MultiMedia Department.

But it’s not just telling the story, it’s telling the story in a compelling way – which is just what we have done in projects such as Hallowed Ground, Meth is Death, Ft. Donelson: A Place for Heroes, and Baby Daddy/Baby Momma. Other documentaries have frozen a moment in time, such as The Last Wolf Fest, a chronicle of a memorable performance by legendary rockers John Kay and Steppenwolf, due for national DVD distribution.

A creative staff that includes three Peabody Award winners, with backgrounds rooted in award-winning television news, is one reason we’re able to continually deliver powerful documentaries that break out of the stereotypical mold.

Our clients include organizations such as the Tennessee Wars Commission, U.S. National Park Service and the Tennessee District Attorneys Conference. So when we produce a documentary, our client knows they will receive something that sparks new thoughts and has the potential to change lives for the better. The Emmy Awards given to many of our documentaries is just an added bonus.
