Summer Passport to Fun

The Renaissance Center is again participating in The Museum Advocates’ Summer Passport to Fun program.

The center is one of 12 educational and cultural institutions in Middle Tennessee offering summer programs for school children. Passport booklets with the schedule of programs will be available at the center.

Participants can take part in many free and reduced-price activities, getting their passports stamped at each institution. At the conclusion of the program, participants with stamped passports are eligible for prizes and other fun at an end of summer party in Nashville.

The Renaissance Center’s schedule of activities for the 2004 Summer Passport to Fun is:

  • Bleach Drawings, 10-11 a.m. June 3, for ages 6 and up, $3;
  • Eileen Wallach Exhibit in Visual Arts Gallery, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, June 19-24, opening reception 5-7 p.m. June 19, free;
  • Magical Garden Boxes, 1-4 p.m. July 28, for ages 6 and up, $6.
