Weekend display to feature over 200 quilts at Renaissance Center

More than 200 quilts will be displayed in The Renaissance Center’s rotunda during a special two-day exhibit Oct. 20-21.
For the second year, the center will host the Sew Delightful Quilt Guild Show, featuring the work of members of the local organization. The theme for this year’s display is A Season for Quilts.
The show will feature seasonal quilts, a special display of the body of work of a local quilter and an Antique Quilt Bed Turning.
Quilts in the show will be judged in several categories, including Best of Show and Viewer’s Choice, as well as a special category for young quilters under 16.

A Season for Quilts will be on display at The Renaissance Center 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21, and admission is free.
